Titan is Saturn's largest moon and the second-largest in the Solar System, larger than the planet Mercury. It is the only moon known to have a dense atmosphere and the only celestial body other than Earth with clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid, in the form of methane and ethane lakes, seas, and rivers.
